Co-Founder & President
Den Coffey is excited to be part of the Seacoast Junior Golf Program. Den retired in 2019 after working for the Department of Navy for 34 years. After retirement, he began volunteering his time as the assistant golf coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, New Hampshire. Coach Den has been St. Thomas’ Co-ed Varsity Golf Coach since 2021.
Den is currently President of Cochecho Country Club where he is also a member of the greens committee. In the winter, he enjoys skiing and is an adjunct teacher at Great Bay Community College. Coach Coffey brings his joy of the game, his love for teaching, and his determination to develop youth golf as he works to establish the SJGA organization. He and his wife Judy live in Somersworth and have two grown children, Alison and Colleen.
Greg Cordeiro grew up on Cape Cod and was first introduced to golf as a caddy at Hyannisport Golf Club which then led him to playing in junior golf events while growing up. He continued to play both in high school and in college, graduating from Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA) with a degree in Marine Engineering, and he still loves hitting the golf ball and playing today. Greg moved to New Hampshire in 1988 and retired after working for the Department of the Navy for 34 years.
Greg began his volunteering as many do, coaching his three children in youth sports while they were growing up. He loved watching them grow, not only in their sport, but also in their self confidence. Greg has spent time volunteering for the Somersworth High School Hockey Booster Association, where he served as treasurer and president, and for the town of Rollinsford, where he served on the town’s recreation and budget committees. Greg resides in Rollinsford with his wife Maureen and has three grown children, Shannon, Casey, and Ryan.
