Den Coffey is excited to be part of the Seacoast Junior Golf Program. Den retired in 2019 after working for the Department of Navy for 34 years. After retirement, he began volunteering his time as the assistant golf coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, New Hampshire. Coach Den has been St. Thomas’ Co-ed Varsity Golf Coach since 2021.

Den is currently President of Cochecho Country Club where he is also a member of the greens committee. In the winter, he enjoys skiing and is an adjunct teacher at Great Bay Community College. Coach Coffey brings his joy of the game, his love for teaching, and his determination to develop youth golf as he works to establish the SJGA organization. He and his wife Judy live in Somersworth and have two grown children, Alison and Colleen.


SJGA Vice President, Greg Cordeiro

Greg Cordeiro grew up on Cape Cod and was first introduced to golf as a caddy at Hyannisport Golf Club which then led him to playing in junior golf events while growing up. He continued to play both in high school and in college, graduating from Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA) with a degree in Marine Engineering, and he still loves hitting the golf ball and playing today. Greg moved to New Hampshire in 1988 and retired after working for the Department of the Navy for 34 years.

Greg began his volunteering as many do, coaching his three children in youth sports while they were growing up. He loved watching them grow, not only in their sport, but also in their self confidence. Greg has spent time volunteering for the Somersworth High School Hockey Booster Association, where he served as treasurer and president, and for the town of Rollinsford, where he served on the town’s recreation and budget committees. Greg resides in Rollinsford with his wife Maureen and has three grown children, Shannon, Casey, and Ryan.


SJGA Treasurer, Patrick Duffy

Raised in Dover, Patrick Duffy graduated from Dover High School in 1979 then went on to earn a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire. In 1988, Patrick founded Clean Oil Technology to address the need for industrial lubricant reclamation. Over the years, Patrick focused on domestic and international sales, strategizing growth, and sourcing new technologies as his company grew, merged, and was eventually purchased by Colfax Corporation. He retired in 2013.

Patrick lives in Dover with his wife Karen and is involved with his two children’s businesses. His daughter Sarah owns several Aroma Joe’s coffee shops in New Hampshire, and his son Ian owns Granite Fitness & Performance in Dover.

Patrick and his wife Karen have supported numerous charitable organizations and youth sports over the years. They were founding board members of Seacoast Educational Endowment of Dover (SEED), which has raised over $600,000 for direct support of Dover public school teachers. They also started the girl’s youth ice hockey program in 2004 as well as a combined area high school varsity girl’s ice hockey team in 2008.


Golf Coach and SJGA Secretary Matthew Fennessy

Matt Fennessy is excited to be part of the Seacoast Junior Golf Program. Raised in Dover, New Hampshire, Matt played for the Dover High School golf team and went on to play for the UNH Golf Team in its final year of existence (1997-1998). After the team was dissolved, Matt helped create the UNH Golf Club Team, where he served as captain during the 1999-2000 season.

Coach Fenn is currently a social studies teacher and coach at Dover High School.  He began his teaching career at Dover High in 2002. After working with the golf program for a few years, Matt took over as Head Golf Coach in 2005. He has also coached basketball at Dover High since 2000 and has been the varsity boys’ basketball coach since 2017.

Matt is a long-time member at Cochecho Country Club. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and watching his own children compete in sports. He and his wife Candace live in Dover and have two children, Carys and Desmond. Coach Fenn looks forward to helping SJGA players prepare for the world of competitive golf.


SJGA Board Member, Dan Limauro

Daniel Limauro

Dan Limauro has been a Class A PGA Golf Professional since 2010. He also works as a mathematics teacher at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. Dan attended Clemson University in South Carolina, where he earned a business degree specializing in professional golf management.

Coach Limauro has been teaching and playing golf professionally for over 12 years. He is excited to bring his passion for growing the game of golf to our local youth golfers. Dan lives in Berwick, Maine with his wife Becky and their daughter Emily.

Advisory Panel Member, Larry Gardener

Larry Gardner

Co-Founder SJGA & Advisory Board Member

Larry Gardner is a retired physical therapist who owned three outpatient orthopedic and sports therapy clinics in the Seacoast area. During his career, Larry treated professional, Olympic, Division I, and amateur athletes.

In addition to SJGA, Larry has co-founded three successful nonprofits involved with youth travel baseball, soccer, and disabled veteran hunting & fishing programs. He has coached varsity baseball at both Marshwood and St. Thomas Aquinas High School and was a licensed whitewater raft guide in Utah, West Virginia, and Maine.

Larry continues to enjoy fly fishing, hunting, and golf. His wife Sarah, daughter Kelsey, and son Nick share his outdoor interests. Larry hopes to use his background in sports medicine and nonprofit management to help develop SJGA’s golf and conditioning programs.


SJGA Advisory Board Member Coach Ian Duffy

Ian Duffy is the founder and co-owner of Granite Fitness and Performance, and both a lifelong athlete and resident of Dover. He hopes to give back to the Seacoast area by providing a clean, safe, state-of-the-art facility for people to train. Ian’s main areas of expertise are functional strength and conditioning, injury prevention and athletic performance enhancement, and he works with many youth sports groups in addition to SJGA.

Ian has a degree in Human Science concentrated in Human Performance from the University of Tampa. His passion for continuing his education has lead him to obtain his Functional Movement Screen Level 1 (FMS-L1) Certification along with his Certified Functional Strength Coach Level 1 Certification (CFSC-L1) and his National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Training Certificate (NASM-CPT).


John K. Burnham

Advisory Board Member

John Burnham has over 40 years of professional experience and has held management positions in all areas of business operations including manufacturing, sales, accounting, finance, and administration. In 2020, John retired from Uraseal, Inc where he served as President, CFO, and was responsible for day-to-day operations.

A lifelong golf enthusiast, John is a member of Cochecho Country Club in Dover and the Golf Club of New England in Stratham. He served eight years on the board of directors of The First Tee of New Hampshire and was treasurer and an executive committee member. John is currently a board member of the New Hampshire Golf Association.

John has a Bachelor of Business Administration (accounting major) from American International College and a Master of Science in Management. He is currently an Affiliate Member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He resides in Portsmouth, has three sons, and is a grandparent to seven amazing grandchildren.
