Our first year was a success!
Fifteen junior golfers participated in the Seacoast Junior Golf Academy 2023 summer program. Players and coaches enjoyed nine weeks of competitive training and course practice at The Oaks Golf Course, Pease Golf Course, and Golf Club of New England.
The summer program supported players who currently play competitive golf in high school and play in state, regional, and national competitions. These players are passionate and committed in their pursuit of better golf and are interested in playing high school golf and college golf in the future. Our summer program included skills development, course management, mental training, and performance training.
Each of our 15 players competed in a minimum of five New Hampshire Junior Golf events. Several played in additional events outside of NH.
The hard work put in by the junior golfers during the summer was obvious going into the high school golf season. Most players had dropped their stroke average by two shots or more. This resulted in significant results during the season. We had many medalist finishes this past season.
